Amina Bokhary Learned A Great Deal

Amina Bokhary is a professional who has worked overseas in England and returned to Hong Kong in order to utilize the skills that she learned abroad. Amina Bokhary is now considering her options in Hong Kong, specifically—how best to put the skills and knowledge she gained in London to positive use.

In 1999, Amina Bokhary graduated with a degree in economics and took a job at Selfridges in London as a professional consultant on issues of fashion. In her time in London, she was able to learn from and work with individuals who were fashion savvy. Amina Bokhary learned a great deal about teamwork, management, and the fashion industry.

Amina Bokhary learned many skills while in London, but she left for Hong Kong because she wanted to go home in order to put those skills to use in a positive way. Bokhary has worked with leading names and brand in the fashion industry, like LVMH and Sotheby’s. She has also worked under Red Communications, designing, pitching, and managing high end events.

Bokhary moved to Harvey Nichol’s in an effort to match her fashion knowledge with business skills. At that company she was in charge of brand management for Goyard, a high quality luggage maker based in Paris.
